Born in 2010

Born in 2010, as Banana Boxers, we started with a simple goal: to create the perfect boxer short. Back then, finding colourful, quality, traditional-style boxers on the high street was nearly impossible—everything was either novelty or boring. So, we decided to change this, with a clear vision: to bring a splash of colour and comfort to men’s wardrobes, with something unique that’s made to last. 

Next Steps

 In 2024 / 2025, we took the next step, we renamed the business BANANA, giving the brand a fresh identity and opening the door to a wider product offering, which sees us launch our biggest collection yet. We’ve refined our Original men’s boxer and introduced a premium version made of yard-dyed cotton—The Classic—along with matching children’s boxers. We’ve also created the perfect women’s boxers, we’ve launched a collection of pyjamas, plus the BANANA cap. 

Whilst we are aware that the fashion industry is a major contributor to environmental impact, we do what we can to ensure we are conscious of this in our production line; we have small minimums, don't throw away any stock and our products are made to last. 

Within our reimagining of the brand, we are building on our commitment to these measures; we have removed plastic packaging and introduced shell buttons.

We’re also using a more sustainable method of printing our cotton, working with BCI and GOTS-certified cottons.
